Profile/Bio
The artist has participated in many group exhibits and contests where she won different prize and award.
Her first solo exhibit, in September 2001, showed 17 pieces created from 1997 to 2001.
In 2002, she has received a Research Grant from The Canada Council for the Arts for Professional Artists in Fine Craft. She has since received many more grants for special training and studio development. In 2005, her second major solo exhibit displayed a totally different approach in her work. It allowed her to submit her sculptures in international contest as The Tallinn Applied Art Triennal (2005), Estonia or the IV Bienal Internaciaonal de artes plasticas in Madrid (2006).
Some her work can be found in private collection in Canada and in Chili as well as in the Collection permanente d'oeuvres d'art de Loto-Québec and the city of Gatineau, Québec.
Her first commercial collection came out in late 2002, with useful trays and service bowls.
In her studio located in Hull she pursued her researches and creation as well as teaching.
Art is a daily necessity in her workday.
